average loss
Hello all! I am a new poster on this board. I had Fobi Pouch RNY done on Nov 7th. 2008. I have alot of back problems so I am just now getting to the point where I can handle regular exersize. Just wanted to get a general idea of wether I fall behind or average in my weightloss this far. I have lost 39 pounds as of this morning. Anyone care to share what you have lost thus far?
Had surgery 11/18 ... have lost 32 pounds, which I think is good. I am certainly happy with it. Somedays the scale goes up and some days it drops. I have a terrible habit of weighing every day! I can't stop! I would certainly be proud of a 39 pound loss. Thats great. I too have not been exercising like I should, but I will get there.
You all are doing AWESOME!!!
I had a vertical sleeve gastrectomy on 11/24/08. It has been 6 weeks today & I'm down 25 lbs. I've lost 45 lbs since I started the process. Wish I could say I'd dropped as much as the rest of you....but I know I haven't been exercising like I should. Gave myself a "pass" on that part until after the Holidays. Now, there are no more excuses!
Using you all as inspiration - I shall now head off to the treadmill.

Hi Terri
I has VGS on 11-26 with Dr Walton. I have lost 25.5 since surgery and a total of 43 pounds so it sounds like you and I are neck and neck!!!!! I also think we are doing fine and it is hard to get motivated to exercise. I have two bad knees and use a "gazelle" glider exercise thing that doesn't feel too much like exercise but I think it helps. ....I hope it helps. I have also been "chair dancing" to a video I ordered on line.
Good luck , be good to yourself and be strong.
